You take Viagra on an empty stomach, better not after a rich meal and alcohol. To be sure you should take the pill 30 to 60 minutes in advance of the sexual activity. Normally the drug starts its function rather quick: Viagra works most of the time after 20 minutes.
Side effects
Side effects in my case headache and nasal congestion. If headache is a problem: try a half dose. Stuffy nose: nasalspray is effective.
My experience with Viagra in brief: Viagra gives you selfconfidence, quick respons, very firm erection. There are side effects but they will soon disappear again.
